I bumped into some senior students and professors having lunch at McDonald's on March 2nd. So I happily joined them. I never imagined having lunch with professors would be so enjoyable. Perhaps this is a unique memory belonging to the history department.

但是总有属于自己的星球

在自己的星球，一个人在坑坑洼洼的水池里唱着歌

People are always alone.

And yet, each of us has a planet of our own.

On that planet, one sings alone in a small, uneven pool of water.

路程有无数次动容，感慨时间飞快。

阳光照在我们身上，暖洋洋像是梦境一般，我从未这样切身体会一个人的青春。

或许，很多年后，我也会带着年轻的人儿，是子女或是朋友，来看看我的青春。

In the Spring Festival of 2026, I brought my aunt back to the factory where she had worked twenty years ago, to revisit the place that once held her life.

Along the way, there were countless moments that moved me—time has flown by so quickly.

Sunlight fell warmly on us, dreamlike in its softness. For the first time, I felt so vividly what another person’s youth must have been like.

Perhaps, many years from now, I too will bring someone younger—my children or maybe a friend—to see the traces of my own youth.

从来不愿做作地感慨时间，但仍震撼于它的泠冽。

于是，我留存记忆的美好，生怕这来之不易的瞬间被忘却。

I have never been one to sentimentally lament the passage of time, yet I am still shaken by its cold severity.

And so, I try to preserve the beauty of memory, afraid that these hard‑won moments might slip away and be forgotten.
